This policy explains what personal data Velox Themes handles on veloxthemes.com and library.veloxthemes.com, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
Velox Themes (“we”) is a small business in Indonesia. We make website templates, components and the Velox Library. Questions? Email info@veloxthemes.com.
2. What we collect
- Your account: your email, name and profile. If you sign in with Google, we get your name, email and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
- What you buy: your purchases, plan, licenses, payments and refunds. When you sign in, we use your email to find purchases you made before. Our payment provider handles your card, so we never see your full card number.
- What you use: which resources you copy, download or open, in which format, and whether you used the website or an AI assistant.
- Answers you give us: the optional welcome questions, and your reasons if you cancel a plan. Only our team sees these.
- Messages: what you send us by email, feedback forms or the newsletter sign-up.
- Technical details: your IP address, browser, device and error reports.
Please don’t send us passwords, card numbers or other secrets.
3. Why we use it
- To run your account and give you what you paid for.
- To help you when you contact us.
- To send emails about your account and purchases, and newsletters if you signed up.
- To see how our sites are used, measure our ads and make things better.
- To pay affiliates who send us customers.
- To stop fraud, spam and abuse, and to follow the law.
We do this because we need it to serve you, because the law requires it, to keep the service safe, or because you said yes. You can take back a yes at any time.
4. Cookies
Some cookies are needed to sign you in and keep the sites safe. They are always on. Other tools help us understand visits and measure our ads, and we ask you once for both sites:
- EU, UK, Switzerland and Quebec (or if we can’t tell where you are): off until you click Accept.
- Everywhere else: on unless you click Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Your choice is saved for up to 180 days in a cookie called velox_consent. We check your country on each visit and keep only the result in velox_consent_region, never your location. Change your choice any time with or on your Profile page in the Library. If you reject, these tools stop and their cookies are deleted.
Tools that need your choice: analytics tools that show us how the sites are used, including recordings of public Library pages with all text and typing hidden, and advertising tools from advertising platforms such as Google and Meta, which measure our ads and may show them to people who visited us.
Always on: if you arrive through an affiliate link, our affiliate provider saves which affiliate sent you in two cookies on veloxthemes.com for 30 days, so the affiliate gets paid if you buy. Clear your browser’s cookies for veloxthemes.com to remove them. When you sign in to the Library, a cookie called velox_signed_in tells veloxthemes.com you’re signed in, so the menu shows Open library instead of Sign in. It holds only a date, never who you are, and lasts up to 30 days. Our error monitoring reports errors without cookies, and a bot check confirms you’re not a bot.
5. Who processes it
We share data only with companies that help us run Velox, and only what they need:
- Hosting and security providers keep our sites online and protected.
- A database and sign-in provider stores accounts and Library data. Google handles Google sign-in.
- A payment provider handles payments. If you came from an affiliate link, it tells our affiliate provider the order’s product, price and status.
- An affiliate provider runs our affiliate program. Affiliates sign up with it, and we get their details and referral results to pay them.
- Email providers send account emails, newsletters and purchase emails.
- Analytics and error-reporting providers show us how the sites are used and what breaks.
- Advertising platforms measure and show our ads.
- A form provider collects feedback.
- AI assistants you connect get the Library content your plan allows. We can’t see your other chats or files, and what you share with them follows their privacy policies.
Some of these companies store data outside Indonesia, mainly in the United States. Where the law requires it, we use agreements to protect it. We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people, or if our business is sold. If you want to know which companies handle your data, email us.
We don’t sell personal data. Some laws count sharing data for ads as a “sale”, and you can use your rights below.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account, welcome answers and cancellation reasons: until you delete your account.
- What you used in the Library: 12 months.
- Purchases: as long as you have access, and as long as tax and other laws require.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. We keep a short note so we don’t email you again.
- Affiliate cookies: 30 days. Affiliate records: as long as we need them to pay affiliates.
- Error and security records: only as long as needed.
Some records must stay for the law, taxes or disputes, even after you delete your account. Backups are deleted on their normal schedule.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see your data and get a copy, fix it, delete it, limit how we use it, or take back your consent. Email info@veloxthemes.com. We may check it’s really you first. You can also complain to your local privacy authority. We follow privacy laws, including Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022). To stop newsletters, click “unsubscribe” in any email; we may still send emails you need about your account.
8. Security
We protect your data with sign-in checks, limited access and monitoring. No service is 100% safe. If something goes wrong, we act quickly and tell you when the law requires it.
9. Children
Velox is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data about children. If you think a child sent us data, email us and we will remove it.
10. Other websites
Our pages link to other services, like design tools, payment pages and AI tools. Their own privacy policies apply there.
11. Changes
We post changes to this policy here and update the date at the top. We tell you about the important ones, and ask again if a change needs your consent.
